Music at the Museum

As most of you already know, the Music at the Museum Concert Series is another casualty of the Covid-19 crisis and will not be coming back.

It has been a privilege to have had the opportunity to work with the Museum and to present the wonderful range of artists that we were able to share with you. Looking back, I'm proud to say that we were able to present some of the finest, roots, acoustic, folk and ethnic artists in the country!

While I am disappointed to have the series cancel, with each closed door comes a new "open window" and in this case, it is the fact that I will continue to present live acoustic, roots and folk music through my own series, Hickory Ridge Concerts, in a virtual format featuring live guests, an interview and a Q & A at the end. click here: www.hickoryridgeconcerts.com for more info. Bring your own pie and join us for more outstanding acoustic music in the comfort of your living room!   I'll continue to program the very best in the nation, now through virtual performances.  If you enjoyed the music I presented at MATM, be sure to join us for Hickory Ridge Concerts Virtual on Hickory Ridge Concerts Facebook page every third Saturday of the month, 7:00 pm Central time, all year long!

Sponsor

I want to thank our sponsor, Carpenter St. Hotel in Springfield, IL.  For the past three years, they have partnered with us to provide accommodations to performers while in Springfield.   Their support was a major factor in being able to present the calibre of artist we were able to bring to our stage and I hope you will support them in return.  I’ve personally stayed there many times and t's always a pleasant and comfortable place to lay my head.
